Making modern investment solutions available to all

“The starting point for establishing Harvest was a recognition that the asset management industry faces structural and fundamental changes. The key drivers behind this transition are digitalization, access to data and changing customer needs” states Co-founder and CEO of Harvest, Atle Christiansen.

Since its foundation Harvest has invested considerable resources in developing a unique technology platform to produce and distribute investment solutions.

“A weakness in the asset management industry is that the best investment strategies are only available for institutional investors and wealthy individuals. Until now. Our technology makes it possible to offer institutional-grade investment strategies to the retail market” says Christiansen.

Combining digital technology and human insights (“man and machine”) strengthens the company’s competitive and innovation power. A professional investment team, a robust investment process and a unique technology platform provide a strong foundation for further developing Harvest.

In 2018, Finstart Nordic also concluded that this combination represents the future of asset management. By November 2018, the investment agreement was signed, and Harvest received capital to expand internationally. The first country out being Sweden.

Harvest continues to grow its product portfolio, and currently offers two global equity funds and a global bond fund. Going forward, the focus will be on improving customer experiences and to scale the fintech platform by developing automated advisory capabilities.
